As a political official, I had had a stalker for many years. I kept it quiet until he sent copies of the notes to the press. Then a rumor began circulating that I was doing it to myself to gain attention. Of course, it wasn't true. I became determined to discover who the individual was, and with the help of a local police detective who believed me, we did.

While sometimes it is important to turn the other cheek, this taught me that when your reputation has been put on the line you owe it to yourself to confront the people who are rumor-mongering.

While it made me a stronger person, I also decided that elected politics was no longer for me.

There are so many rumors about me that they should call me the country bumpkin, upper-middle-class version of Paris Hilton because supposedly I am famous around the rumor mill for being infamous. In fact, the last rumor about me was that I got drunk and climbed in bed with my best friend and her husband and begged them for a threesome. My best friend supposedly got angry afterwards then grabbed me and slammed me down on the ground and yelled: "That's my man! You're a sick *****!" She then started throwing punches and I only laughed and said: "Old lady is that best you can do!" (Take in mind my best friend is 44, her husband is 46, and I'm 23 .... although most of friends are middle-aged and I only sleep with guys around my age.)

Well, during when this supposedly took place, I was at my dad's house (not my best friend's house) studying for a final exam in organic chemistry. When asked my best friend, she tell me that I did indeed get drunk (only four times) with her 20-something-year-old children while at her house but all I do is tell people what I really think of them and mostly its how much I care for them. I'm not a horny or violent drunk, but a happy drunk. LMAO!!!!

One of my ex friends told another friend of mine I was gay and I put the moves on them. This other friend has known me so well for 20 tyears and laughed at that person because I have been with the same woman for 12 years.
