Peter Griffin!!!!
Why I tell you why, He makes the show, Stewie is funny, but the interaction with brian is what makes him hilarious.
Peter just says some of the weirdest of the wall stuff and does it too. Like fighting with the giant chicken.
He is what makes the show. Who else can pull this line off other then Peter on the show.
Peter: "Don't worry I got an Idea, An Idea so smart my head would explode if I began to know what I was talking about"

I cannot believe I'm the first to say Peter! He's the patriarch of the family. While all characters are funny and important-the show couldn't function the same without him!

I like Brian. He is cool and witty, and always knows the right thing to say. It is also hilarious that he has a crush on Lois and has tried to hide it for half of the life time of the show.
