yes, if the fielder wouldnt be able to get the runner out in time, but if the fielder like droped the ball or bobbled it, then it would be an error.

No defensive player is just going to hold the ball, but if it is fielded cleanly and the runner beats the throw to first base it is a hit. However. if a defensive player fields a ball cleanly and tries to get a force out on a base runner at another base and the runner beats the throw it could be scored as a "fielders choice" and the hitter would not get a hit. It could still be a hit if the fielder really had no play on the force out or the runner at first base. All of these types if issues are left up to the Official Scorer" of the game.

the statistician makes the call. if it was a hard hit and the fielder made an immaculate play and cannot get the ball to first in time to get the batter, they may call it a hit. If the fielder bobbles the ball or has some other sort of error, they are charge with an error and it is not condidered a hit, rather they reached base due to an error. This is all called by the statastician for the game.

It would depend on the official scorer's judgment that the play would not have changed if the fielder tried to throw out the baserunner. Rule 10.12(a)(1) allows the official scorer to determine that the throw was irrelevant.

Yes, but if he bobbled it would be a error and he would not get credit for a hit.

yes it is called an infield hit, like if ichiro is up to bat and he hits a chopper to third he picks up and ichiro is already top first he would just hold it and it would be an infield hit
