If they're a real baseball fan, I'd ask them why they let one player ruin their enjoyment of the game. Especially when there's many more to blame besides him(All the way up to the commish). For the pseudo-fans who suddenly jumped on the "Stop Barry Bonds at all costs" bandwagon because it's the thing to do, I ignore them for the most part. I might say, "Let us baseball fans enjoy our game, you can go watch American Idol or whatever nonsense you're into."

Just look on the bright side. He definitely will retire after this season.

Since there are a lot of people that still believe the media's false stories about steroid abuse and attitude problems, try looking into the facts and not what disgruntled reporters are saying.

I'm sure the public is smarter than those loser reporters that Barry Bonds made upset all because he would not grant an interview to them.

If MLB and their independent laboratories do produce or reveal a positive test result for Barry Bonds, then he would indeed be guilty of drug use. Until then, "innocent until proven guilty".

That I agree with you...Bonds had his chance to be a thrilling player when he was younger..and every time he got the Nat'l stage as a spotlight..he stunk up the place..

now he is dirty goods..his known affliation with steriods has made him a cheat..he has turned to playing the racecard as an excuse..and the people who seem compelled to excuse him..usually do the same thing..

he is very old news..he isn't chasing a record..because he stands in an exclusive group of cheats that don't deserve the time of day...The Consecos..Giambiis..Bonds..
should be treated in the same manner..Raphael Palmerio is treated.
except the media's collective scorn..goes where they decide it should go..

the double standard is a total joke..and added to the reason Baseball has become nothing but a corporate junket
for executives to write-off day-game expenses and use the company box seats..
