My mom never understood me neither did my dad but he wasn't in my teenage life that much so that doesn't count.

Rocket Science is as easy as a walk in the Park compaired to understanding teenagers. Having been one myself many moons ago, I can only beg forgiveness from my Mom and Dad for the agony I must have put them through during the
"you just don't understand" "there's nothing that I don't know"
Why can't I smoke" "you don't know anything about my friends" "I'm gong to go whether you like it or not";
"If my sister can drive the car, why can't I?" teen stage. It must have been a nightmare for them. In retrospect, I have come to the realization that teenagers are little "beasts", complex; unyielding;egocentric ; know it all; argumentative; defiant;
intellectually lazy; spawns of the devil himself. I would not want to live through those teen age years again for all the money in the world.My dear sweet, kind Parents, where ever they are have had their revenge, I have two sons whom I have
renamed "Murder" and Mayhem".!!!!!

Give me rocket science any day. I've got 3 teenagers and I'll never understand them.

I have 5 sons, 4 of them grown, one is still a teenager. I've always been good friends with my kids, especially when they were teens. I miss those days, they were the best. Still get along great with my kids but I think it was because I relate so well with them. I have no trouble at all understanding teenagers, at least most of them.
