Our pond is about the same size -- and about 38" deep so our fish winter over out there in central Iowa. We do keep the pond aerated in the winter and can often see the fish swimming under the ice. We've had the pond about 10 years and I bought feeder gold fish for 10 cents each to put in there. I would say some of the current fish are 6 or 7 years old.

We have several fish over 6" long and one is about 8-9" and they are truly beautiful. Some have developed long flowing tails. We have about a dozen.

I have a 100 gal pond and my five cent (5 cents) gold fish have grown from 1" to 12" in one year. They are now 3yrs old!
It all depends on how many fish you have in your pond.
Over crowding will stop the growth of your fish. The rule of thumb is, the larger the area, the bigger they will get, unless there is over crowding.
350 gals, and if you have say about 5 fish in there, they will probably reach about 12" or more!!
I have Koi's also, and they got huge in a 100 gal pond.

Oh, by the way, I have fancy goldfish, and all of them are 2yrs. old and have been in the pond ever since.

They can get fairly large about 12 to 18 inches depending on variety. Any variety will survive just fine, but Koi are the best, the most colorfull, and look like the fancy variety. One note of caution. Make sure you provide hiding areas in your pond so the fish have a refuge from predators such as Heron birds. The depth of the pond should be greater than 2 to 3 feet if possible. Provide plenty of rocks, and water plants for them to hide in and under. If predators are particialrly bad in your area, you may want to consider a net. I lost four beautiful 2 year old Koi to a predator Heron who snapped them up for dinner before I could get my plants and rocks in place.

your comets have the ability to reach over 24". I have a few that are close. Fancy's will reach around 10" shubs if they are fancy tail shubs around 11" long tail around 18"

they have a better chance of growing to their full potential in your outside pond. Just remember to give them a well balanced diet. If you find you are getting algae in the pond, stop feeding your goldfish pellets or flake. Feed them veggies and allow them to clear the algae. It is good for them and for your pond.

Goldfish thrive in large tanks or outdoor pools supplied with clean, well-aerated water but fancy Goldfish are not suitable for outdoor ponds.

You can try with Comet goldfish only, and they are going to grow to 15-18 inches each in 350 gallons.

The bigger the pond, the bigger the fish. Of course that also depends on how many fish you have in the pond.
