why do conservatives think that liberals hate America?

I am a liberal, a liberal capitalist.

What I see on Y!A, on the MSM and in Congress shows me that in general, yes liberals(socialists) hate AMerica.

I really wish people would quit using the bastardized term "liberal". There are very few true classic liberals left today and the vast majority are conservative or capitalist.

Most who use the term liberal to describe themselves, at least here, are most often socialists. Doubt me, review their Q&A, their words will show them for what they are.

The democratic party and the liberals have been hijacked by the democratic secular socialists, simple as that really, and therefore what AMericans see from this group paints all with that ugly broad brush.

Until the Democrats can regain control of their party they will continue to be lumped together with those who would quickly destroy our constitution, our freedoms and our economy all in the name of socialism.

I hope that makes it clear why AMericans believe liberals hate our country and our constitution.

Because there is no other explanation for their rabid pursuit of policies that will ultimately destroy the country.

Liberals removing prayer and the pledge from schools has left a void in the lives of many young people, which is a unifying element of our culture. Rap music has filled this void.

Liberals promoting the social safety net has diminished the cultural value of self-sufficiency and independence, which has been replaced with an entitlement mentality. Have you heard what Hillary is promoting? "Shared responsibility". In other words, "Collectivism", which is a nice way of saying "Socialism", which is Communism before they learn they need guns to make it work.

Liberals don't care that the tax cuts made America more prosperous, by generating more jobs and encouraging business. They don't want people to be prosperous.

A more honest question would be "Why do liberals not realize that they hate America?" The answer to that is that they see a totally different America, one that does not and can not exist outside of their fantasy world, as it requires the use of force and oppression to make happen, which would destroy America as it is, a land of freedom and opportunities.

Because everything that come out of their mouth proves it. All they talk about is how we're hated around the world. They sympathize with dictators like Chavez an Castro, refuse to pass a ban on burning the flag, and always fault America instead of the countries we are HELPING, like Iraq. Libs just don't seem to understand that getting rid of people like Saddam, bringing free elections to this country and making sure a pro America government is in place is a good thing. These brainless idiots even claim we destroyed the WTC ourselves to use as an excuse to go to war.

Conservatives think that Liberals hate America because of all the Bush bashing. Apparently this is difficult for some to digest. I hear a lot of self proclaimed cons talk about responsibility & accountability and how these are qualities that Liberals lack, but I see it as the opposite.
It seems to me that many conservative Bush supporters struggle with the growing reality that GW Bush will soon be known as the absolute worst president in U.S. history. Surely, it must be hard to accept that anyone who voted for W (some of ya did it twice) is partly responsible for the damage his administration has caused. One could even go as far to say that if ya elected Bush, you've got innocent blood on your hands. I'm talking about the blood of young Iraqi or Afganni children that never even heard of osama or the world trade center who ended up on the wrong side of a tommahawk missile. Karl Rove would instruct W to refer to this kind of atrocitie as "collateral damage" or "the unfortunate cost of war." For those of you who feel that dropping bombs on children you've never met is necessary or acceptable I must question your love for your own children. What would make it appropriate for another nation to drop bombs on your kids?
So why do Conservatives THINK that Lberals hate America?
1.) Because they're in denial

2.)They can't tolerate the shame of admitting that Bush is a decietful, evil war-monger who profits from human missery.

3.)They refuse to realize that challenging the patriotism of war protestors is a huge component of FASCISM.

4.) Denouncing your critics is easier than accepting responsibility for your mistakes.

2. As Americans we will do anything in our power to maintain our freedom.
3. Any attempt at restricting people to protect our freedom is cause for grave concern for the success of everything we, and our forefathers worked hard to accomplish by making this the greatest Country in the world.
4. People who undermine those efforts couldn't possibly care for our Country and the people it stands for.
