Yes actually! I love the skin I'm in, the place I'm at in my life, and all that it entails!
I grew up in an every kind of abuse imaginable home. Living to see adulthood wasn't even considered.
I'm now happily married 25 years this August 2007, to my best friend since I was 5yrs. old. We have two wonderful sons, He has a great career, and I'm able to enjoy not only the beauty in life and the world around me, and also enjoy writing and publishing my poetry.
Photography is a true passion of mine as well. I sketch and draw what I see and also use all of my creative and artistic abilities to design greeting cards/bookmarks etc, quilts, hand bags/ diaper bags and whatever else my creativity inspires.
I am very Blessed to have and truly enjoy life in my universe of happiness and the world around me! I'm very loved, cherished, understood, encouraged and truly treated like a Queen.
It's a life never imagined, and lived to the fullest each day!

I have a decent job Im not broke and I dont have to put up with my mom everyday. She only calls when she wants something. I am very happy in my life. I also look better than I ever have in my life and that is awesome at my age.

Happy? Not thoroughly. Some aspects of life are great while others are quite screwed up. But generally thankful that I did not go astray after a turbulence teenage years. would like to be more religious and to be able to be with someone i care without the accompanying guilt. So difficult when we cross path with someone at the wrong time. Kinda hope for a fairytale ending...happily ever after

Happy in my own skin? I'm not so sure! I would just love for my skin to be as young as it once was, and not as saggy as it is now! No, seriously though, I have 4 kids, a wonderful husband and a happy life, so yeah, I'm happy at the way things have worked out.

With your question am I happy with my own skin - my answer would be yes. Now with your other question about life working out the way you hoped it to be - my answer would be it depends on how you look at it. Growing up, my parents told me that in life you will never be contented with what you have or what you have accomplished. As a human being we always want more - It is up to us to make "us" happy with what we have and accomplished.
In life, it is not the material things that counts the most but it is the people around us that we gave joy to and make us complete

I feel very unfulfilled in my life. I am married to a great guy when he's not yelling and I am a sahm to 2 smart kids. But this all happened when I was 20 so I feel like my whole adult life has been dedicated to my family. I haven't gotten the chance to explore myself and my career. I sound selfish and ungrateful, I know but I can't help it.

I am happy in my own skin. Life has its ups and downs, but that just helps us to grow as a person. I am cool with my life...and we all like the good times better than the rough ones...but the rough ones always pass. Yes, life is good.
be cool...

Why you got a life to spare that I can borrow and try out? LOL
Grass is always greener over the fence but its always above someone cesspool. Know if I'm not happy with it, its up to me to make it better. So if I feel lousy about it, its my own fault.

Totally! Thanks for asking! Yes, married almost 18 years, wonderful husband and family. Didn't have preconceived notions of what it would be like, so it's turned out better than I ever would have hoped. All one can ask is to learn and grow as each year passes - about ourselves and the world!

I tried on a few other skins, but after a couple of days in the sun, they start to get pretty ripe, so I always end up in my own skin.
