Lots of drugs and alcohol, no one learns anything and theres lots of sex. And thats just the faculty.

Two things.

1. There is no such thing as a "typical" American university.

2. What it is like at any particular university really depends on the individual. Everyone's experience is different.

In other words, you need to be more specific!
