your car comes with vented or non vented you dont have an option on that one if youre talking about the drilled raceing ones yes you can swap them any time but unless your racing and do a lot of hard breaking or do a lot of driving down steep canions riding your brakes you wont notice a differance

you wont need to swap calipers or pads to make an upgrade to the rotors

For the extra cost of the vented rotors and performance you'd get, I don't think it's worth the cost or trouble. The rotors you have should do just fine in my opinion. Maybe you can research some performance parts options for the next repair job you do. How about installing a high air flow K&N air filter to improve your gas mileage. It lasts the life of your car and it's washable so you can clean it whenever you want to. See the Advance Auto online video segment on "DIY air filter" or "How To Save Gas" and it shows you how to install one yourself.

no its not too late, but upgrading the rotor, would call for upgrading the caliper as well. I suggested you get slotted rotors, not cross drilled. Cross Drilled rotors tend to crack after awhile.

I would not bother with them until you need new rotors
