There are advantages to each...
INDIVIDUAL:
I'm not concerned w/ other peoples thoughts and opinions on every little problem that arises during the course of a project. I'm able to work through it relatively quickly and get the problem solved with ease.
TEAM:
Other people to bounce ideas off of. Other opinions are expressed and used. Tasks are delegated instead of just done by a single person. The solution is probably more complex and thought out because so many people have thought it through.
Unless it's a complicated issue, I'll take working by myself. It's easier, quicker, and less complicated.

I work better alone. I don't like to have to work with idiots. It throws me off. That's not to say that I'm not a team player. It all depends on the team.

A team! I'm a hotel rep. and I would not be able to make sure that everything is taken care of from the cleaning of the rooms to maintenance and the checking in and out of gst. But I will adjust to the situation.

At work, I like doing tasks by myself, but I am often asked to be on committees because I get along with people fairly well.

I can work well either way. I am good at working under pressure when some other people are in the "There's no way to make this deadline" mode.

I work better on my own, unless it's something I would rather someone else do ofcourse!
But seriously, I work with my friends so if I want to get work done, I pretty much have to be away from them...

it depends on you as a person. if you feel nervous with a group, and afraid of construstive criticism, then work alone. if you are exactly the opposite, dependent on others, and outgoing, then you may be better working in a group.
