In a one day match, lets say there is a situation that only 1 ball remaining and 1 run to win and 1 wicket in hand.
Now the bowler bowls a legside wideball but takes the batsmen wicket by stumping. Now can anybody tell me which team has won?
the confusion is
> wide ball bowled -> so 1 run which means the team batting have won?
> Bowler takes the last wicket through stumping -> so the team bowling have won?

The law regarding penalty for wide ball sti8pulates that
a penalty of one run shall be awarded instantly on the call of Wide Ball and unless this call is revoked this penalty shall stand even if a batsman is dismissed.
In view of the above, in the situation described by you,the team batting wins the match by getting 1penalty run for the wide

I know little bit of cricket. I really doubt that there is a possibility of giving the batsmen out of a wide ball. if this is no the case also normally which ever event happens first is taken into consideration. So the team batting last wins.
Even if this is not considered, team which chased only wins as they have secured the winning runs by a wide and there is one ball to spare.

The thing which happens first will be considered. So,first the ball has gone wide before the batsman was stumped.
1 run will be added to the batting side and obviously they would win the game.
