I live outside India. Every time I visit India (chennai) the hollywood movies which were released about 2 months earlier where I live is released a few weeks after I land in chennai. Where I come from the movies are released on the actual worldwide premier date.

They have to dub it for the different countries and for places like India they have to edit out all forms of romance like kissing, sex, etc.

The theaters in India get the prints that have already been used in America.

because of courier late delivery.and traffic jams all over india.
