I would always start with Sir. When the discipline starts you can use Master. Of course with his permission only.

Good Luck

It would really depend upon your relationship to the person whose husband you are asking about, and to the husband. Your cultural norms are also a factor.

In America, for example, it's generally considered appropriate to call people by their names. You could call Joe Smith "Mr. Smith," or, if you know him better, "Joe."

If you are an employee of this woman, "Sir" would be more appropriate than "Master."

Use sir or Mr. Whatever his last name is. If it is an informal basis you might just want to use his first name.

I assume "her husband" is in a postion that demands respect. If it's professional, "Sir" is apporopriate. If its social, his first name or "Mr. ____". Use "Master" only if its s/M.
