I am way too independent to rely on anyone else for money and the things I want. I can earn those things for myself. . .if I don't earn them, I don't enjoy them as much. Besides I enjoy working and love my career. I wouldn't give that up for anyone.

My husband is not a multimillionaire, but he and I decided as a couple when I got pregnant with our 2 year old that I should quit my job, keep going to school, but spend as much time as possible at home with our children before they started school.
I don't feel like I lost any independence. Before I had my daughter, I was an advertisement designer for a newspaper. It was a fun job and I enjoyed my work. I had a career then, I'll have one again someday.
Right now, I like being a Mommy. I take a lot of pride in my children and my home.
This isn't the right decision for everyone, but it works for us.
You can have it all- a family, a career, an education, time to yourself- you just can't expect to have it all at the same time.

If I truly loved him, then yes I would! There is nothing remotely plain about being a house wife or mother thank you very much!! I'm a wife, mother, career person, and hell yeah, id marry the rich guy!

No I would not marry him. Frankly, alarm bells would start ringing as soon as someone asked me to give up an outside life and career for them. After all, YOU would be dependent on him for money etc, and really, what kind of life it that. What would make this person so insecure that he wanted to control you in this manner? And as for kids, he would probably dictate when I got pregnant and how many we should have etc. Definitely a 'no' from me!!!

Nope sorry I didnt get a college degree for nothing so I wouldnt accept it. I would go out of my mind being a stay at home mom and I dont want kids anyways. Money isnt everything in this world its about doing what makes you happy.

yep. cause i am already married to a man who makes much much less. i work, but i don't have a career. i don't get everything i want. i help pay bills. i cook and clean house and do laundry. and i have two children. so this sounds quite appealing.

That's how I got married. But, the money didn't come with it. I did it out of love.

Good choice. Why would you give up everything that you have worked so hard for?! A free ride is never a free ride.

Well if he really loves you he wouldn't ask that. I could see once you started having babies for him to ask you if you wanted to be a stay at home mom.
