The best external drives are the SATA drives - as long as your computer can support it. The USB external drives might be a bit slow for serious on-line gaming.

However if you were to move all your music, pictures, videos, etc to the external drive (where they will still work just fine) then you would have room of the internal drive for games.

Yeah and some times no....You can store your games in external hard disk and when you are playing high graphics games through external hard disk then the data transfer speed is not enough....

the main problem is installing in external hard disk creates problems ....
