Please be very careful. Mold,as you know, is a living organism. When it perceives it is under attack( as you attempt to clean it) It will start sending spores into the air wildly. In an attempt to survive. This is extremely dangerous. As you breath you take the spores into your body and it colonizes.

2 cups bleach to 4 cups water. I work as a custodian and have cleaned alot of black mold. You can spray it on and than wipe it off or use a rag. For pink blinds I would cut the bleach by half 1 to 4 so it won't fade the blinds.

Outdoors in a well ventilated area, (wear gloves) wash blinds with 1 part bleach, 4 parts warm water. Use a soft brush or nylon scrubbie (not the green pads) and rinse well. Leave to dry in full sun. Don't leave them long enough to fade, just long enough to dry. Find the source of the mold and correct the situation. If you're getting mold on your blinds, something is wrong and you and your family are breathing that stuff.

Fill your bathtub with hot, soapy water and allow the blinds to soak for about 15 minutes. Using a dish sponge or a toothbrush, clean off the mold. Give the blinds a good rinse and lay them outside, spread out on a towel to dry. Good luck!

I had the same problem in my conservatory with my very expensive sanderson blinds!Im assuming yours are a fabric blind too? I discovered VANISH SPRAY and it works!I spray it on the blinds leave for a few minutes and then gently rub with kitchen towel.I then rinse well.It sometimes takes a few goes but eventually it comes out and my blinds look as good as new.

Put them in your bath tub, extended and closed, and fill with hot water (enough to cover the blinds), dish soap (just a squirt), and bleach (about 1/3 c). Let them soak for about 1/2 an hour and drain. Then if you have a shower attachment, spray down well and rinse. Works wonders! :)

Washing them in the bath is a good idea. You might try adding one of the plant mould killers such a Bordeaux mixture to the water and let them soak well in it.
Rinse them off well before drying and rehanging.
BTW - you get the mould due to dampness improve the ventilation and keep the blind opened out.

I'm busy doing the same job, and what am doing is filling the sink with hot water and soap powder putting in four at a time and then using my wife's plant sprayer and setting in so it jets the water out and then blasting the mould from the fabric, works a treat

If they are not cloth strait bleach kills mold you would have to spray on a let sit. do this 3 days in a row. bleach kills mold. bleach works on wood, vinyl surfer's. without discolour. If they are cloth blinds the bleach would more then likely discolour.
