I have electric windows and about 3 years ago the driver side window started to roll up and down very slowly, and now it will not come down at all. Now the passenger side window is starting to do the same thing, If I roll it down just a little bit, I have to start rolling it up about 15 minutes before I arrive to my destination so I know it will be all the way up, lol. Does this sound like the motor for the electric window or could it just be something more simple? How much do you think it will cost to fix it?

Just did one on my brother's 96 Z28---motor's are bad.
Takes a couple of hours to do each one and we got the motor at a parts store for about 50.00.

Yes the motors need replacing.

Try a junk yard, take a battery.

It's not real hard to do but will take a couple hours to do.
