He is a different type of player so it is hard to compare. I put him more in the Magic mode than the MJ mode. I'm a big King James fan but until he wins 6 titles he can't be considered as good as Micheal.

After last night, that question seems a bit harder to answer. Even though it was only one game. Jordan had a career of performances like that. The thing about LeBron is that he is on a team that is full of bums and stiffs which makes it more incredible what he did last night. He's a different player than MJ, sorta like a hybrid between him and Magic. To answer your question...it's not an impossibility. Like you, MJ will always be the best in my book, though. When he got the ball in the clutch you KNEW he would make the shot. I can't say that about anyone else in the history of the game right now.

Nope, he will not be better than MJ.
And also, I think Lebron himself would not want the media comparing him to MJ.
I can't blame the kid. He wants to make the name for himself.
Not just "the second MJ", or "the heir of the air throne", but to be thought as Lebron James, superstar, no taglines whatsoever.
Oh and btw. the guy who said Lebron is an MJ-Magic hybrid is probably true, thus assuring us that MJ and lebron will have probably different styles of play, and will get more complicated when comparing them.

Maybe, but what makes him show that now? Yeah he is a great player right now maybe top 50, but everyone even Cleveland people have to agree that maybe he gets some special treatment throughout a game. But Lebron needs to win 6 champsionships not just 3 games against the pistons to be considered better than Mj, and Mj showed leadership he hit the big big shots not pass the ball to a lesser teamates, and remember that jordans best games were when he didnt score 40 when he would throw assists and score 25 and a still dominate opponents

He could end up being better than MJ. This is only the beginning for LeBron. Only time will tell.

Michael Jordan was, and is, the best player in history. LeBron is good, but he still has a way to go. Jordan has scored over 50 points in a game and took the Bulls to 6 championship wins! He's a master at the game of basketball. That doesn't take away from LeBron's performance. He's a good, serious player. He has put Cleveland on the map, for the first time in their history. I give him his props for that!

He is only 22 and has 1 amazing playoff game under his belt. Lets give it some time before making this choice.

Better? No. As good? Probably.
I am a Pistons fan, and I have to admit that he is going to be considered top 5 all time when he retires, barring injury.

Yes! He doesn't show boat like MJ and he's more of a team player.
