Your chances of becoming pregnant are great! Having such a regular cycle is a bonus, 'cause it means you should know exactly when you ovulate. With a 27 day cycle, that will be about day 13. The easiest method of knowing when to 'go for it' is the cervical mucus method. Sounds gross, but it's amazingly accurate. The only time you can conceive is when your vaginal discharge is clear, slippery & stretchy. Test it between your finger and thumb. This is the only type of mucus that allows the sperm to swim through it to fertilise the egg. This discharge can last from a couple of hours to 36 hours. Some types of contraceptive pill work by altering the composition of this mucus, making it impossible for the sperm to get through. To anwer the other part of your question - no, you will not menstruate if you don't ovulate. Lots of luck!!!

There is a test which indicates the best 2 days in your cycle to become pregnant. If you want to become pregnant, ask your pharmacist for the test. Of course, you can become pregnant at other times in the cycle, but this test pinpoints the best times. If you don't want to become pregnant, be sure to use protection, even though protection is never a 100% guarantee.
