20 pesos for the restaurant meal no matter how big your bill added up to. 20 pesos also for the foot spa and massage lady.
If you're a politician you're expected to tip at least 100-500 pesos.

Here in the Philippines, I usually just leave a 10% tip at restaurants, massage/spas, hair salons, even taxi cabs. Some restaurants already include a service charge (around 5% to 10%) so I don't leave a tip anymore. Plus, most establishments already charge you the mandatory 12% E-VAT (extended value-added tax).
And it also depends on the kind of service they give. I remember one resto my bf and I went to, they forgot our orders and when it came the food was cold already! And the waiter just plopped the dishes in front of us with the plates clattering on the table! No tips coming from me for bad service. =(
I'm glad it doesn't happen often. Most people are really hospitable and friendly, with a few exceptions here and there, but don't let that put you off. If they give great service, leave a tip. It's only polite to do so. =)

Generally speaking, it's about 20 pesos. But it really depends on the service that you get. Me, I usually give a 20 peso tip, however, if I liked the service (e.g lady did remove my back ache or my swelling in grown) then I give 50 pesos max!
In restos, 20 pesos is fair enough as well esp if there a service charge aside from the 12% VAT.
:)

I don't. I only tip people who are providing a luxury service. Like restaurant/bar servers, hairstylists, estheticians, the guy that pumps your gas.. If I order takeout from a sit down restaurant then I tip because I know the server has to tip out the kitchen for the food. But I don't tip at Starbucks or fast food places.

If you have good service the general rule is the same for all three questions 20%, 15% for good, but not great 10% for mediocre, and nothing if the service is just flat bad.

In the USA, the average is 15%. I've noticed when I travel to Europe that most people leave only 10%.

If there is service charge already, we add between PHP20-50 (assuming it is two of us). Larger groups it all depends on how much our meal was and how long we were there (we will tip more if after dinner we order round after round of drinks). For massage/foot spa, PHP20.

My ex-wife went to school for that and I asked her one time. She said probably $10 minimum for around here(which is about $65/hour)
