Almost EVERY serious drama has social commentary attached to it. Much of it is in the form of cultural/prejudicial differences and struggles.

Finding those bodies of work most related to specific cultures, IE: Immigrants, or specifically Irish, or African indiginous people and their issues, when combined with other ethnicities.

Certainly there are pieces that may be comedic but comment in satire on the State of society and its evolution. Political topics in plays also offer wide ranges of comment on various sides.

You should perhaps broaden your search, certainly to offer more subject matter. I wonder why you happened to choose those two as examples? Dowery is mostly archaic in modern society, but is very culturally driven ethnically still. Child marriage also suggests a very defined culture, which I now suspect is your rationale.
