Chickens have very small brains! They can't be trained to do such things as they do not have the intelligence to understand commands!
Keep it outside where it belongs!

I don't think you will ever be able to train her to go outside no offence but i don't think chickens are intelligent enough....you will just have to contain her to an area of your house where you can keep it clean and sterile, try making her run outside as secure as possible so a fox can't get in...

You can't. They have no conscious thought process for this...their natural instinct is to eat and scratch, everything else just happens.
You really should allow your pet to still be a chicken and place them in a secure pen or hutch...chickens need to be outside, they need to be able to scratch the ground and give themselves dust baths to stave off mites.
Making a secure home for your pet can be very enjoyable...make it as elaborate as you want, but keep in mind, that certain pets still need to be given as much of their natural habitat as possible. That way, they stay happy and healthy.

I don't think they have any control over their bowels. Or much of a brain. You'd need to set up a situation where you want it to poo, so that it gets an instant feed when it does poo. Tricky, and I still don't think it would work. Why have you got a chicken inside the house ?

How about keeping your chicken outside and you go out to visit him? Chickens are easy to train that way.

Why isn't your chicken outside? All you need is an old rabbit hutch (big enough for your chick) and a rabbit run. They are really cheap to buy, even if you got a second hand one. Atleast if there outside, it wont mess in your house.

Birds are not known for their toilet training skills. And chickens, however adorable, are not known for their brains. I think you will just have to confine her to an area that's easy to clean, or just keep follow her around with your cleaning equipment...

I have heard the only person who can train a chicken to "go" outside is Colonel Sanders. Call him I'm sure he would be glad to help!
