Great game, used to be really good at it. BUT I've forgotten how to play it. Can anyone remind me?

My team and I play Yahtzee all the time at work. We use it as a warm-up before team meetings.

6 dice, whoever gets the most the same wins - simple.

The score sheet.
Firstly there are Ones, Twos, Threes, Fours, Fives, Sixes. You have to get from 1 - 4 of them, and add them to your score (e.g. 4 fives is 20 points). You add up the points you get. If you get over 65 points you get 30 point bonus.
The next section has three and four of a kind (you add all the dice), then you have full house (Pair and triples), small and large straights - 4 and 5 numbers in a row, and 20 and 30 points. Yahtzee - 50 points (5 of a kind = 50 points) and chance (any five dice). All spaces apart from Yahtzee can only be used once.

You play the game by tossing the five dice, choosing what you want, and tossing the leftovers again, twice more. Then you have to enter on one of the spaces on the score sheet. If your toss doesn't give you what you need, you have to cross one of the spaces through.
The one with the most points at the end of the game wins. I think its played in lots of 5 games.
At least that's how we played it.

yahtzee is so fun
i just played it a couple days ago
actually i played extreme yahtzee, you only get to roll the dice ONCE each turn
it was awesome
you have 1's-6's
number of them = the number of points you get in that category
so lets say you got three 2's one 1 one 4 and one 5
you have nothing except 2's
so you choose for the twos box, 4
you have a total of 4 points
then you add all of them through 6
then if you get enough you get a 35 point bonus, i think you need 35 or more
then there is specials
like full house (2 of 1 number and 3 of another)
full and small straight (1,2,3,4,5 or 1,2,3,4 or 2,3,4,5,6 or 2,3,4,5 or 3,4,5,6) smalls are small and bigs are the big ones obviously
and a yahtzee is 5 of one number
you only get one roll for each set, so if you have nothing when you roll, then you have to cross out a category
then you add up scores and whoever has the most WINS!!!
you should look up the manuel on hasbros or something instead of listening to me. Hope this helps...

PEACE!

Yes, I have that game. It is really fun to play when you have a lot of people. You have a score card and you have to try to roll certain things like 3 of a kind, 4 of a kind, full house, as many of one number as possible, chance if you don't have anything else, and a yahtzee which is five of a kind. The goal of the game is to get as many points as you can and you have to fill up all the boxes, but you can't get something twice.

You have six dice and you take it in turn to roll them. The idea is to get 6 of the same number in 3 rolls. If you threw 4 x 2's on your first roll. then you have 2 more rolls with the 2 remained dice to get 2 more 2's.

Is that clear?

do you mean yahtzee?

you throw five dice and have to get a collection of ones, twos , threes, fours, fives, sixes and full houses, 3 of a kind, 4 of a kind, low straight, high straight, the yahtzee and yahtzee bonus, and chance, you can throw tyhe dice a maximum of thrice per round

I think you have 3 dice & you shake them & so do your team mates. You write down each others scores & see who has the highest
