I read about a novelty in grave accessories: a build in monitor in your tombstone that will display pictures or little films about the deceased. Would you be interested in a thing like that?

In the article it said that the first one that got used was for an oldish deceased woman, and it plays the same film over and over. The film ends with her saying: When will you visit me again?

FREAKY!

edit: it is vandalism proof, apparentely, and right now it only works with an accu, but they are working on a version that will be solar powered.

edit: okay, it's called a digizerk (zerk is tombstone in) if you are interested.

Ahhh I'm going to go with a rousing NO!
I remember going to a relatives funeral and the wife was there taking picture of the coffin etc. that to me was beyond the beyond BUT a computer of sorts in the headstone I'm thinking thats a little off. But JMO right!

Wow, sooo cool. You could see how other people had lived Put a face to the name, and it would beat just walking round a cemetery trying to distinguish the names on peoples graves.

No, I wouldn't like that...it wouldn't last five minutes around here anyway. Yobs wreck everything. A little girl died from around here not long back and her grave was totally trashed. Despicable.

I'm not sure i want one but i would have liked one for my grandma Rosie. she died before i was born and everyone says i resemble her in looks and temperament. it would be a nice way for my dad to remember her and for me to know her. it would be a little sad, but it would be better than staring at cold stone.
