If we had better bus services people might use them more. AND if their child was suddenly taken ill I would like to think they would have the sense to take a taxi home rather than use the bus. Common sense should prevail. The taxi could then if need be take you and child to the DR, which would enable you to hold child rather than driving. Although one would like to think that the child would not be home alone and therefore the guardian would have made some decisions on the action needing to be taken.

You're absolutely right. Money would not be an option for this type of action. You're child is more important then the 20 or more dollars you would have to spend to care for your child.
