Yes I enjoy the exchanges in this wonderful community between intelligent people with diverse interests and from different backgrounds, as long as the discussions are kept in a civil manner.

I ignore the trolls because nothing can be learned from their self-indulgent diatribes and their repeated, pitiful cries for attention. It's easy to spot a troll even in a single post because of the absurdity contained in his or her piece, which is just pure drivel that wastes precious Internet bandwidth.

In addition, they have the IQ of a broccoli.

Only got reported once for a stupid reason, I was going to appeal it, but other answers said they just allow appealing to sound fair. I mean maybe it happened a few times, but I think they were kidding. Just go along with it, read the guiellines and terms of service JUST IN CASE, then delete your email talking about it. Everyone gets reported sometimes, and it;'s usually for stupid reasons, if any.

as what my master said: "turn your face from the ugly side of the world." so I skip the trolls, ignore their rants and raves--sometimes read them just to try if they make sense--and enjoy the good things yahoo answers philippines has to offer. ganun lang yun. =)

Not really. I skip questions that I sometimes find easy enough even the querent can answer in a flash. I also skip questions I can't answer to because I myself don't know the answer. I answer questions that I believe are legitimate.

Of course. The so called trolls(I like to call them orcs, trolls are bigger) here are striking intimidation to the regular contributors of this section. Intimidation using words is pointless. War with words for ammunition doesn't cause anyone to bleed.

It's not that easy. I can't just let anyone trample on us Filipinos and get away with it. To be silent about baseless issues they raise against us is like accepting them as the truth. Fight the trolls not to shut them up (because that's unlikely to happen) but to educate everyone who travels YAP about what we really are as people.

Geez, I'm in Gabriela Silang mode again..lol.
