As soon as it starts hit f8 and try to use "last known good" or "safe mode".
OR
You can turn off "restart on error" in the bios, that way you will get a coherent blue screen which will diagnose your problem for you. I'll bet you have a NTFS file system damaged or corrupt. You may be able to do a "repair" instal which will keep all your data. Insert disk, shutdown. Onetime boot menu ( usually f12) cd rom. FIles will load. Windows screen First screen hit enter ( NOT repair) then f8 to agree, NOW r for repair. If not you might be able to do a "parallel". Too long to list here, but google parallel install and print on another computer.

Ok, so it sounds like the power was yanked when the computer was busy doing something, so data corruption was the result.

If you can't boot into Windows normally, and every time you try you get the Safe Mode, then it's safe to say that the hard drive has suffered some damage. If you were a client of mine, and I was working on your computer, here's what I'd do in this order:

1. Go into Safe Mode.
2. Run Scandisk on your C drive and do a "Thorough" scan of everything.
3. If Scandisk completes successfully, try booting back into normal Windows.
4. If you still get the Blue Screen o' Death, then the next thing I'd try is to go back into Safe Mode, and then try a System Recovery back to an available date where you know the system was working properly.
5. If that doesn't help, then you'll probably have to attempt to repair the O/S.
6. If the repair doesn't complete, then chances are you'll have to reinstall the operating system completely. Usually, that's the most drastic scenario due to the fact that you'll lose all data on your hard drive.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Its no question that you pulled out the plug unfortunately when your computer when was doing some important system function and so your OS crashed. So therefore you are seeing the Blue Screen Of Death and lemme tell you this is not a good sign, you need to get into to the Windows through the safe mode and unistall any new software or driver you installed in your computer, another easy way do this is to use the option called Last Known Good configuration that worked.

If any of this thing doesn't work, you should leave it to the professional and he will use a restore software through which you can get back your Windows, hope this thing works out.

Thanks,
Kakes

When you start the machine up again, you should pay attention to what it says to do. You should also take care to allow it to complete whatever it says. After you've successfully started in safe mode, try starting again in regular mode.

On a Mac, shift/administration/3 takes a image of the exhibit screen. in case you press shift/administration/4, you could click and drag over the section you want; the photograph is taken once you launch the mouse button.
