i'm listening to Death By Stereo "Entombed We Collide" these guys are a punk band, but they have a very heavy metal edge. about 35% of the vocals are viciously screamed, 40% are passionately shouted, and 25% are sung beautifully. the guitars a heavy and melodic (really sweet bridge, which goes from guitar solo to shout-along to whispered singing), and the double bass is used alot. its heavier than what i usually listen to. but good.
