You bet. They want to remain popular to sell their movies/CDs; given the atmosphere of this country, it's unfortunately more cost-effective to remain a closeted performer.
Even Lily Tomlin has never officially come out, which I find completely bizarre.

I don't think it matters but there are a lot of religious or otherwise morally outraged folk out there that do.
P.S: I am not trying to cast any pregidests over anyone I just think we need to be more accepting.

I think for alot of gays and lesbians, they just want to be regular people doing their thing and would like to be recognized for their accomplishments and who they are as people rather than their sexual preference. As for me, I could care less who in showbiz is str8 or gay.

it's weird. some ppl get all the good publicity for being 'honest' and admiting to who they really are
while others get shoot all the way into the coffin of their career.
so i guess hard choice yea? it has always been a tough life being homo isnt it, even for the common everyday person like you and me?
