Orcas Island, of the San Juan Islands.
It is beautiful, fun, relaxing and seems like it would be a great place for families. Although it is getting to be more of a Vacation spot now-a-days.

There are a few places in America that I'd live in in a heart beat like San Francisco or Boston but my ultimate place to live in would have to be Watson's Bay, Sydney, Australia. They have the most awesome beer and food there. Plus there is this little lighthouse there and when you stand on the cliff you always feel like you're on the edge of the world.

Not just where for me. Where and when. My answer would be Berlin just after WWI. It was an era of enlightenment and social, economic, and sexual freedoms. Berlin was the gay capital of the planet after the first world war. The freedom to use your mind and body reigned supreme. They were light years ahead of... well, even us today. And they were not ashamed. They had hope for the future, until Hitler came and destroyed everything. But Berlin between 1915 and 1935 would be my pick. Now, if only I could speak German.

Man! I wud like to live on one of the islands in Mediterranean. Recently I saw a vacation home in mediterranean on tv. It belonged to Sir Richard Branson!. Right the Virgin fellow! It was awesome and picturesque. Hope to hav one sumday!!!!

Probably somewhere where it rains a lot so its not too hot ( i live in texas so the heat is a big problem). My friend tells me virginia is nice
