to temporary take the feeling away turn to someone who loves you and talk to them, hug them, spend some time with them, if you keep exposing yourself to someone who you love and hate at the same time your mental well being will change, you will become miserable. I think its best you avoid this person until you can stop loving and hating them or they can change their attitude towards you. As far as not caring at all and getting out of that panic stage the only thing you can do is NOT CARE, thats the only cure.
Laughing can temporarily stop it, but i think the only way to change that kind of situation is to remove yourself completely from it and seek another environment in which you will be appreciated and not have the feeling of love/hate towards someone. Meet someone else who wont give you those feelings. Good luck.

Here is the secret to life and being panic free.
Every human is going to die. Some sooner than others.
You will NEVER know when you die, you may think you are going to die, but you will never know when it is going to happen.
BUT you can take your own life ANY time you wish.
SO... not much that is happening to you right now will make any difference when you are dead and in 100 years very few or maybe no people will even care or know what you did during your lifetime.
SO JUST ENJOY IT.
It is ok to get mad, it is ok to get excited in an happy way, but there is no reason to panic because whatever it is it isn't going to kill you and if it is then you will be dead and not know it anyway.

that's really hard. Take really deep breaths (breath in through your nose). Shut your eyes when you are breathing.
Why do you extremely hate and love that person? I am sure that is very possible. How have you dealt with this? Talking about it with anyone? With family? With the person? Seeing a counsellor or psychologist? Writing your feelings in a journal? Have any of these things helped?

Do you have to meet them? Sometimes they happen to be the same person. Control your mood. Think of the goods things that this person did for you. Forgive the bad things. Think that could be worse if you have to live with them. Now you are just meeting them.
