According to Bryant, it was a matter of trust b/w him and the front office. Back in 2004, the year the Lakers lost to the Pistons in the Finals, Dr. Jerry Buss (Lakers owner) told Bryant that he wasn't going to resign Shaquille O'neal no matter what because Shaq was getting old, he was out of shape, and he demanded too much money. Buss also promised Bryant that he would do whatever it takes to build a contending team right away.
Now, after three bad seasons which included, 34-48 record, 45-37 and 42-40, and two 1st Rd playoffs exits, Bryant feels like he's lied to by the owner and the whole Laker organization. Bryant is frustrated because he thinks the organization lied to him; he believes that they lied to him so that he would resign with them back in 2004. Likewise, he feels that instead of moving forward and making the Lakers a championship contender, the ownership is in a rebuilding mode, hence, the drafting of Andrew Bynum, Jordan Farmar, the Shaq trade, the letting go of Derek Fisher and Robert Horry, etc...

I love the Lakers and hate the fact that Kobe wants out of Lakerland if he don't get his way. Now think about it. If Kobe were to be traded it would most likley be to the Mavs. Mark Cuban wants Kobe and is still ticked off at Dirk for his poor performance in the playoffs. A straight trade. Kobe For Dirk. Free up alot of cap room. Get jason Kidd who they'll be able to afford now. Sign and trade for Jermaine O'Neal. Wait 1 year and go after KG and the Laker cap room will be at it's peak. But not over. Remember that basketball is a business now and theirs no true loyalty to just one team. The loyalty is to the mighty dollar. And it's possible this might happen since Kobe started running his mouth off latley. I hate the fact that I have to think this way, but my loyalties are to the Lakers organization not Kobe. If he can't be loyal to his team and the city he represents, then why should I. I still like Kobe and he's not gone, but we have to face facts that Mr. Buss will not tollerate insubordination. But it might be a blessing in disguise for the Laker family if it does happen.Just think this years starting line up could possibly be:
g Jason Kidd
g Jordan Farmer
c Jermaine O'Neal
f Dirk Nowitski
f Luke Walton
Not a bad line-up without Kobe. With this line-up. Easily in the second round.

people who dont comprehend Kobe dont comprehend hardwork, opposition or the interest of basketball, or any game. Kobe works his *** off 24/7 and could proceed to artwork that no longer uncomplicated or maybe tougher into the destiny. people who say that he's a hog ought to verify the stats. I certainly have by no ability heard all of us disrespect mj for via calling him a hog, yet he has much less assists than kobe and the suitable comparable assists according to interest as kobe. Kobe is an entire basketball participant. Respecting Kobe is respecting the interest. #respectmamba #kobewillreturn #kobeshowedus #showusagain

because he tired of la lying to him, and so far it sounds like he might go to Indiana for Jermaine Oneal and other, but I'm sure every team in the NBA would want him, personally i hope the Celtics get him

cuz the office promised him that they were going to try to get good support for him, but they never signed a good guy (kevin garnett). now that he feels that hes not going to win a championship in LA, might as well leave.
