Brown. Green bottles let more sunlight through to alter the beer. Besides, every beer that I have tasted in a green bottle tasted like it had been run through a bicycle tire.

I would say both. Miller Lite and Samuel Adams are both in brown bottles. But Heineken (another good one) is in green bottles. So I would have to say both.
