for personal reasons i need to get into baruch college so badly, but now i'm starting at another college, so i'm planning to transfer to baruch in 2 years
baruch is known by its business program, and i'm interested in business as well, i wanna know what should i major/minor in right now which is best for transfer to and study at baruch college
the choices are: accounting, business administration, retail merchandizing, entrepreneurial studies, office administration/techonology
please name them in order
thx so much, i appreciate ur opinion and advise

1. Accounting (if you enjoy it)

I wouldn't bother at all with the other two; they are community college-type programs which probably would not transfer to Baruch. I listed accounting first because there is a big demand for accountants right now and starting salaries are great. However, not everyone is cut out for accounting, and if you are not, don't waste your time. Business administration is second because it is very general and will prepare you best for general employment in business. When you get to Baruch, you can specialize in something more specific, like marketing or finance. Entrepreneurial studies will prepare you to work for yourself. Some people are born entrepreneurs, but others feel they need to get their feet wet first working for others.
