tips:
1 put down the 'Delete' key immediately you power on you PC,and set the first boot device as CD/DVD-ROM(that means that you PC will be boot from the CD/DVD-ROM first)

2 format means that your datas in the proposed installed disk will be losed .so make sure you have your datas backuped.

3 mostly , the XP will be installed in disk C;

4 the FAT32 and the NTFS format make no different to us.

Don't sweat it and do it the hard way! Do it the easy way.

Simply reboot - press "del" key to access your motherboard bios setup. In the main screen select BIOS FEATURES SETUP. Change all boot devices to your DVD -rom drive. Save setting - reboot.

Stick your Windows disk into the DVD drive.

Your Windows will boot and offer options to reformat your hard drive and install new software. All Done!

After Windows is fully installed and ready to start up - go back into bios setup and change all boot devices back to the original HDD configuration, which will be IDE-0.

Put the disk in the drive and pull up the one time boot menu (usually f12). Then choose onboard or usb cdrom. Let it run, install your drivers, youre set!
