g force video card?

i installed my g force video card, hooked my monitor to it....worked at first....now i get a black screen.....do i need to uninstall the video program that came with this comp?....if so,....how

Go into safe mode first, this is how :
- press f8 couples time when your computer boot until you see an option, choose safe mode
- Go to control panel, add/remove program then uninstall your old vga driver
- Restart normally, and boot normally then install a new driver
- Thats all ^^

What card is it? It might be one of those power hungry models. It might have overloaded your power supply, especially on the +12V rail.
