does that mean that the cooler is included in the price? the tray version means only the processor itself?

you are correct. with boxed you should get heatsink & fan, as well as install instructions, cert. of authenticity, and a warranty. OEM or tray processors give you only the processor.

No, the only difference between box and tray version is you got a box, manual, Intel sticker if you buy box version.
It just that. i prefer buying tray because cheaper and i don't need any box in my house. ^^

I have never heard those terms used in that way.
However, if the term OEM is used, it is generally the bare bones deal. (No manual, no fan, etc.) The term Retail is used when all the bells and whistles are included.
