first time using 2 sata hdd?

hi there,
i recently bought a 500gig hard drive,as i already got a 320gig,so now i have two sata hdd,but i dont have any idea how to setup the new one,any ideas?

my mobo is asus a8r-mvp

Plug into the sata 1 port on your board. Your preexisting 320 is sata 0. Then go into bios (f2 for most computers) and enable sata1 drive. You must format the drive.
