I always like getting people something that they wouldn't buy for themselves because it's nice but totally unnecessary. But now that I think of it I think I'd rather have something I need. Like a plane ticket from Japan to MN. :)

If it is a GIFT, I want something I want, but don't need. Something I need, I can get myself. I don't want any gift that has to be plugged in. Get away from me with that vacuum.

as a gift I prefer the things I like it will keep the one who gave it to me in my mind every time I use it,, things I need I must buy.

definately something I can use and need...I find that if I dont have a use for something it's just wating space and gets thrown away (unless the kids make it of course)
