Actually, this is something I am trying to work on. After four years of not speaking to my stepmom after my dads death, I called her......just to let go of the hate and bad feelings I have always held on to. Long story why I felt that way but the point is I stopped holding a grudge. I used to hold them for years when someone really hurt me but now, I am more forgiving.

I get mad all the time for stupid people p!ssing me off, but I can say I only hold a grudge on one person. It's been 2 years and the grudge will live until I die.

No, and if I start to lose my grudge I just merely think about what was mad about in the first place and it kicks back in full fledged, whether I want it to or not (and I usually don't). I hate that about myself, it takes me forever to get over the smallest things. Call me the queen of grudges.

I don't bother holding grudges anymore as I'm the only one who suffers from it. It's much easier to forgive, let go and move on. Grudges can make u sick.

God bless u,

If the person has crossed what I consider "the line" holding a grudge is no problem...then I either have to thrash'em or talk myself down...pisses me off when others try to talk me down. Usually I let things slide, but there's always seems to be one that has to be difficult and won't shut their mouths..then something has to be done.

Depends on who it is. I usually hold the grudge for about a day.

I have always been one to hold a grudge, I'm very good at it, but as I've gotten older I've realized it's just a waste of time. no one is worth that kind of aggravation
