actually... the Cubs first won the Series in the 20th Century... 1907, against the Detroit Tigers... the were established in 1876, which is the 19th Century.

I would liked to experienced the official end of WWII (the european bit when Berlin was taken) in London. Can you imagine going to a party where everyone hadn't been out in 5 years? It would have been a mixture of relief, pride, exhaustion, but most of all happiness.
