i am 13 yrs old and i was wondering if 13 was too young to have sex...i am almost 14 like in a month...but im going to high school and i no people r going to be doing that..but i wanted 2 no if it's 2 young?/?

Hmm ok how about this....you have sex, wait worried until your next expected period, if it doesn't show up then what, your going to wait 9 months go through school with a big as belly then push a watermelon out of your crotch then have this responsibility for the rest of your life. Good luck its not worth it and OMG i cant believe you asking this question...I'm 16 ,I'm not an old person telling you what you should do, i am a 16 year old VIRGIN and I'm not even thinking about SEX and trust me iv had my far share of guys but it doesn't matter how great they are because right now my virginity is the most important thing to me...you only have it once and you can only give it to one person why are you degrading yourself by wanting to have sex when you are way to young...if you want to have sex then good luck getting your period after...its the scariest feeling and a 13/14 year old doesn't need that worry, dint put yourself in that situation.

ya know sex isnt even good when u are that young!! because you are so small and tight that it will hurt almost every time until u find someone u are used to... and by then u will have slept with so many guys that everyone will start calling u a slut! and then you'll get pregnant.. and the risk of death, and birth defects are higher... you will destroy your body and maybe get an std!
is it worth it?
Dont get me wrong.. im not a virgin... but I have only slept with 3 guys... and it was in the past 3 years.. I am 19..
I know I wont though again until I find someone I truly love...
and I have been told that sex isnt REALLY good until u are in your late 20's early 30's .. because you are more experienced and know what u like...
don't waste your virginity for any guy that comes your way!! save it!! it's sacred!! and all little teen boys think about is how they can say "oh yea.. i did her.." and how many times they can say it!! it means nothing to them... you're just a notch in their bedpost my dear...

Yes it is much to young!! There is not hurry to "do what everyone else is doing" Please don't go there I know that you think that you are so grown up but your still only young you have the rest of your ADULT life to worry about boys, STD's, getting Pregnant and everything else that goes on when you start being sexually active. I would of been one out of 8 girls in my high school class (there would of been about 50girls in my year) that hadn't had sex when i left year 12 and looking back I'm actually really really happy about that. Wait till your older and can appreciate the step you would be taking and the person that you are with can appreciate you.

YES, it is to young. I know the pressures of high school, and the pressure to "fit in". But it is to young. Just think, what would YOU do with a baby at 13? What if you got a STD, like AIDS? Would 5 minutes (high school boys max time) of sex be worth possibly throwing away your whole life? Condoms don't always work, and there are diseases like HPV (genital worts EWWWW) that they don't offer much if any protection against at all, and they are un-curable, meaning you would have to live with this disease for the rest of your life. Please consider all this, and wait. You don't HAVE to wait till you are married, but at least wait till you are older, and have sex for the right reasons, not just because "everyone else is doing it". Good Luck!

Let me just say, do you want a child at 13? If you have sex, it could very easily result in this. I don't know if you are a guy or girl, but just imagine having to tell your parents you got a girl pregnant, or that you are pregnant. NO!! you should not have sex! Especially if it is to be part of a trend, that is the worst way to get involved in sex! Concentrate on your studies, believe me when all those kids are at home taking care of their kids and you are out doing what you want, you will be the one laughing. They may think they are cool now, but it will catch up to them!

I'm 14 and going into highschool too. But sex isn't worth what could happen. Don't do anything you wouldn't tell your parents about. And what if you had a baby? Everybody would think you were slu**y, your parents would be REALLY mad at you (and they wouldn't trust you anymore), and your boyfriend probably wouldn't support you. A lot of my friends have had sex, and they thought they were ready for it, but they weren't.
So ya, 13 is WAY too young. I would know (proud to say as a virgin)

13 is way to young, why would you want to damage the rest of your life, should you become pregnant it sure would. Other problems that would be created are that you get an infection or worse. Most guys want sex, that is it. Don't do it wait until your wedding night where giving that special gift to your husband will be so special and my prayer is that you have a happy life.

I am 13 too. And I am sticking with abstinence. Y'know...waiting to have sex until I'm married. Because there is NO SUCH THING as "Safe Sex". Sure there's protected sex. But there's never a promise a condom won't brake etc. So in my opinion 13 is too young to have sex. For one, I'll just fess up, I CANNOT handle that much commitment, also I don't want guys to expect that from me if we go out. So I'm waiting until I am married.
Also I want to have a true, and promised commitment in marriage. Because alot of teens having sex are being left by thier boyfriends/girlfriends shortly after they have sex. I want to be sure my guy doesn't just get up in leave me.
But, hey, I'm just one teen.
You don't have to agree with me.
I'm just telling you my take on things.

Yes, it is. I had sex for the first time at 14 years of age (I'm 30 now) and it certainly wasn't the best of ideas. I would wait until my late teens if I were you. I can't stress enough that there is almost no benefit whatsoever to having sex at such a young age.

Why no longer? I went on my first date whilst i became into 13. yet nonetheless, now that i seem back at it, the guy acted very beside the point in the direction of me that day. I doubt if I had infants i might permit my daughter date on the age of 13... possibly 15/sixteen... yet maximum no longer relatively 13. Ask your mothers and fathers.
