The whole idea of government-run space exploration is so 1950's. It's obvious to me that the corporate logos of the global economy will be replacing the nationalistic icons of yesteryear.

First off, we wouldn't be able to see it from Earth, so that's a little pointless. Although it would be cool to say that your company is advertised in space.
Have you ever seen Futurama? There is an episode where the sky is full of little satellites and billboards instead of stars. I definitely can see that happening.

You can see the ISS anytime by watching NASA TV online. The problem is, there aren't a whole lot of people that watch it. It wouldn't be worth it to advertise up there. It wouldn't give them any more profit. NASA might do it if there was an interest.

That would just open up a huge Pandora's box -- huge billboards in outer space that fill the night sky & block out the stars.
