Good thing you are asking random strangers on Yahoo about this! I mean, what does your doctor know anyway, right?

YES! You must wait because of the risk of infection. Why wouldn't you wait? My doctor said 6 weeks before sex so I could heal properly. I enjoy sex but it is second in priority to my health.

Yes.
Always follow the Doctor's directions. He tells you this for a reason.
You may injure yourself if you have sex too soon.
Two weeks is not a long time to avaoid possible long erm complications.

I would....I have had a D&C and it might be very unpleasent that soon after. You are still tender in that area; just like when you give birth! You are just not tender for as long after as giving birth. Also you do not want to risk getting infection in your uterus. That can be very serious and cause major problems.
