Well if the answer is yes then it is time to get down to the border and protect your back yard from the illegals crossing over.
Your childs future depends on it.

Depends. Is the guy super drugged up? Got a gun? Getting all crazy? If I feel my life is threaten I most certainly will shoot at the sob, but what does that have to do with border security? I guess you want to shoot women and children right? Picking them off as they pass? Look, I don't like illegal immigration, but killing them isn't going to solve a thing, neither is building a wall...the simplest of things would work (like a heavy fine on those that employ illegal aliens)..but our politicians don't want it...wonder why?

For starters, your individual state laws specify when you may shoot. Some states like Texas, if a person breaks into your home and you're in it you can shoot. By the same token, God help car jackers in Texas now...their fair game!

In California, a person can not only break in, but pick up your T.V. while you're kicked back on the sofa watching it and waltz out the front door. You shoot the perp, you're the one going to prison. Some states like Liberal California require the perp to make a direct physical threat of harm (attack), to you before you can act. And no you can't run down the hall and grab a gun to pop his butt as he's heading down your driveway with your T.V. The D.A. will charge you with premeditated murder.

Now, if it were legal to exercise on a burglary here in CA....you betcha.

Illegals on the border. I don't see them posing a direct threat to physical life. If they are running border raids, then that changes the picture and they fall under the laws of the state they are raiding in. If they were coming across armed then it would be at the least an incursion and treated as an international incident, federal crime. The private citizen would not be employed, law enforcement agencies would. Using the Armed forces to actively engage in an internal U.S. police action outside the declaration of martial law violates the Posse Commitatus Act.

As for that ADT alarm system, what are you going to do in the 8 to 20 minutes it takes to get a unit to your door? Also, you better have a cellular back-up for it, or you may as well not even have it because any alarm system the relys on the house telephone can be easily rendered useless...no alarm sent. And if their pros, the cellular can be delt with too!

I think the issue of illegal immigration will be looked at much more closely as the 2008 elections arrive. This is an issue where both sides have placated to polticial winds for the sake of votes, and this issue is the most important one in terms of homeland security. It isn't al Qaeda. It's our ability to shore up and to defend our borders and our seaports.
As for anyone who wishes to break into my home, let me say this. When I played baseball I used a 38 oz bat, 36 inches long. I hit 3 homers in a game with it. I can still give it a good swing. I don't think a gun would be necessary. So anyone who wishes to breach my zone, look out. I won't be swinging for your head, but in an area that will most assuredly make you a soprano.

Hes not being racist, just generalizing. I would say it is a safe generalization. It is mostly mexicans who are indeed "invading" this country. I'm talking ILLEGAL immigration. I'm all for immigrants into the country. But from over 2 dozen people I've talked to, illegal immigrants have more rights than we do. I've seen neighborhoods in my city that in the past 10 years have gone from lower class to absolute "schit-holes" because of the flood of, yes, mexicans. So really, wait until 30 of them move into a house next door to you and see how you feel.

Last time someone broke in, I followed him to his house and tried to kill him there. but he got out a rear window. He didn't come back to my place. If I catch them coming in, well, you just can't pass up a chance for a free kill. but, that's no fun, where's the domination, where's the rehabilitation, it's just more fun than can be discribed to have them lay down face first, and stand on their hands, and lift their wallet. take out the id, and cash, put back in pocket, and screw the weapon into their privates, and ask if they want a sex change. Then let them go. they won't be back. but by the way, I'll kill them in a heart beat if their too stupid to know their being allowed to leave. sorta a catch and release program.
About the border, use illigals to build lots of walls. As long as we have illigals we have labor to build more walls.

No. I'm proud to say my house is protected by the ADT system. There would be no point in me shooting a criminal for breaking into my house when the police are coming right?

Sarcasm Intended.

Start enforcement of labor laws requiring proper SSN's and other ID.... and the illegals won't be able to get jobs. Then they won't keep comming over.

Put the US Army on the border with weapons free too. Cross the fence... catch a bullet.

I'm with you here, to a point.

I think that innocent civilians ( illegals ) should be rounded up and deported. Not shot.

But the "coyotes", the drug runners, cartels, outlaw Mexican feds, and any other undesirable is fair game for the bullet.

Yes I would.
I am from Texas and down here we dint play when it come to family and our homes I was raised to shot first and ask question later.
If someone came into my home without being invited thy would get what that deserved. I work to hard for what I have and love my family to much to let someone just come in and take it all away.
As for the illegals I know where your coming from. I also understand that thy are looking for a better life here in the states, So you can't blame them for trying but your right it has to stop not just from Mexico. We have the president to thank for some of this problem.

What a stupid analogy. Tired of it. Illegals enter a TERRITORY without a PAPER (which they can later acquire, given adjustments in the law). No one is breaking into "your" Trailer Park and going into your mobile home. Those you can shoot. Otherwise, your target may retaliate, stupid. Your comparison is as stupid as you, wait, maybe more. No, that can't be. You have to be more stupid than that.
