They have a small disposable tool that they use to remove the staples. It bends the staple in the middle and that causes the ends in the scalp to come out. It generally does not hurt unless you get a stubborn staple. Then it will pinch some.

I'm going to use a pair of needle nose pliers, and pull straight up. At the same time if needed I'll Pry the ends up & out W/a small flat tipped screwdriver. I'm not worried about pain, Hell they were waiting for approval to do anything, and I had them staple my scalp without any Local Anesthetic. 13 total staples, they didn't shave any hair away or anything.

You can feel it but it doesn't really hurt a lot. They kind of pry them out but they bring them straight up so it does not pull on your scalp.

First, do no longer enable them to heal over or you will could slit the floor over the desirable suited to get them out and this might cause them to slippery. All you like is a few gauze pads, some betadyne, an excellent pair of cord cutters talked approximately as dikes, and a couple of needle-nostril pliers. Swab the section with the betadyne. you shrink the midsection of each staple with the dikes, carry close between the halves with the pliers, gently pull it decrease back approximately 30 levels from the shrink, and slowly pull it out. once you have all of them out clean the section with cleansing soap and water. Antibiotic cream is likewise a sturdy concept. there may well be somewhat blood, yet no longer lots. while you're taking them out too early then you risk establishing up the origianl wound; wait too long and you will to shrink them out as defined above. often painless.
