Just bought medieval II and installed it. It then told me i needed video card with Shader 1.1 support; man i'm pissed.

P.S. I'm not much of a PC gamer, but i really want 2 play this game and i'm on a budget...what do you recommend?

There are different shader models. You probably need shader model 2 or model 3 to play the game. The 9800 has shader 2. You dont need to go with the 9800, you can get a better card, but if you get a good deal, why not. I'd try newegg.

if u live in mumbai goto to Lamington Road and search the numerous hardware stores there.

if u live in delhi goto connaught palace. theres a big hardware store

in kolkata Supreme technologies (near Indian Airlines office)

if u live in small cities u will not get xpensive graphics card easily. search for a big store and ask them to order from dealers/importer. it will b more costly in small cities
