Anyone have anything they'd like to share about this spectacular book?

I had my publicist read it and tell me about it. I didn't understand what he told me about it though.

Quite an unusual love story, isn't it? And well-written, though I'm not sure what message the author intends to convey about love. Perhaps that it mostly leads to unhappiness?
Considered as a science fiction book, it is a dud; no science, really. But it does work reasonably well as a fantasy.
If it is ever made into a movie, chances are it will be slanted so as to become a "chick flick" - and if so, I think it will be successful at the box office.
So, what do you think about it besides that it is spectacular? And aren't we in the wrong category here? ;-)

Just that I really did like it. A very interesting storyline and concept as well.
I've never seen a book written that way before. Romantic, hopeful, tragic. Very compelling reading.
Highly recommended.
