in accordance to Y!A : "A "proper Contributor" is a member of the Yahoo solutions community who has shown that they are knowledgeable in a definite classification. each and anybody may be a proper contributor in a optimum 3 categories. You earn it or lose it looking on your contemporary participation in a definite section. The greater certainly you're making a contribution, the greater threat there is which you will get a TC badge. basically like featured purchasers or classification leaders, this is yet differently to furnish credit to community contributors." Y!A has on no account reported what the real standards are. this is oftentimes usual which you will desire to answer an incredible sort of questions (50?, a hundred?, who knows...) in a classification and get appropriate solutions on a definite % of them (probable 10-15%) each and each week. you are able to have TC badges in as much as 3 categories at a time. there is not any TC badge for the Jokes & Riddles and Polls & Surveys categories. TC badges are based on your contemporary activity, no longer your point or entire factors, how long you have been right here or your usual BA :o)

You need to be at or above 10% in best answers to get or keep the badge, so you'd need about 240 more "Best Answers" right now, without any non-best answers, to qualify.
You can try complaining to the Yahoo Staff about their rules if you wish. Good luck!

funny that the level 2 players are wondering around what to do with it, simply because they have a high % of best answers, like, 30 out of 200? whereas the higher contributors, the true contributors, do not get recognised as the top contributors.
misnomers are pretty common in Y!A, and they're working at proving the fact that "life is unfair".
